Newsradio 98.5FM and AM 560, WGAN, Southern Maine’s heralded legacy voice for news and talk, is seeking an experienced broadcast news anchor for part-time work on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Your responsibilities include writing and voicing audio newscasts, producing weather forecasts and audio commercial spots and helping to ensure the smooth overall operation of our stations outside normal business hours.

You’ll work in outstanding facilities alongside a prideful, professional team of co-workers who still prioritize local news. Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, as well as well as strong written and oral communication skills is preferred.

You will also be responsible for quickly troubleshooting any minor technical issues with our eight-station cluster of leading stations.
